Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teachers (Infant, Toddler, Preschool) to join our team. In this role, you will create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that promotes children’s development during their most critical early years. You will support children in reaching developmental milestones through intentional teaching, nurturing care, and meaningful interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.

  • Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that support cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.

  • Facilitate activities such as arts and crafts, music and movement, storytelling, and outdoor play.

  • Foster a positive classroom culture where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves.

  • Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and development.

  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families about milestones and growth.

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members.

  • Collaborate with staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching program.

  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children by following established policies and procedures.

  • Stay informed on best practices and current trends in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • Passion for early childhood education and supporting children’s development.

  • Previous experience in a childcare or preschool setting preferred.

  • CDA, Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Creativity, flexibility, and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to build nurturing and responsive relationships with children and families.

  • Required certifications (or willingness to obtain and maintain):

    • Pediatric First Aid & CPR

    • Food Handlers

    • Safe Sleep

    • Reporting Abuse and Neglect

    • Introduction to Child Care Health & Safety

    • Foundations for Learning

  • Must be enrolled in the Central Background Registry.

Compensation: $15.05 - $19.00 per hour
